The Process

Amy is a registered and fully qualified phlebotomist who will take a venous blood sample from you at her clinic in Dedham, Colchester. Amy will help you to feel completely relaxed and at ease from the moment you enter her private clinic. You will receive a full health screening to discuss your symptoms, health concerns and reasons for having your blood test. Once completed, a blood courier will take your sample directly to the laboratory on the same day, ensuring that you will receive your blood results and doctors report the very next day.

The Results

Patients will receive a comprehensive doctor’s report by email with the result of every test and how they compare with standard reference ranges. All test results are reviewed by in-house GPs who comment on any abnormal result, highlighting anything that may need further investigation or follow up. The lab that I use runs a 24/7 laboratory operation and commence processing all samples as soon as they arrive at the laboratory in central London; thereby ensuring that all reports are sent out to patients the next day at the latest. Once your results are in, you will then have the option to book in for a complimentary 1 hour follow up consultation, on the phone or in person, to discuss the results further.
